How we can learn to express and handle our mixed emotions during difficult times

Updated: Dec 31, 2021

Emotions are powerful, especially when our emotions are mixed up, dealing with everyone and everything that's happening right now. Most of us are dealing with emotions that are powerful, passionate, calming and grounding. I can attest to this since I'm having mix emotions about certain people who've hurt me this year. I don't hate them or have any negative thoughts and emotions against them, but i don't view them the same way that i use to anymore and to me that's heartbreaking. I know i'm not perfect and i know that I'm not the smartest or hottest guy around, but i know deep down i'm a creative and open minded person that accepts people where they are and who they are fully and i would like for some people who truly know me to do the same out of unconditional appreciation and support and together, we can hold that space for each other to express our emotions and thoughts. I don't want this whole blog to be about my own life and bring all the drama in it. It wouldn't be fair for you, the reader and in this community, it's important for us to evolve and learn from our past experiences, whether we got dumped by someone we use to love, or mistakes we did to ourselves and other people. Our mixed emotions can be a compass to understand our feelings and right now I'll share some creative activities on how we can express and handle our mixed emotions to maintain and support our mental health.

Practicing Physical Fitness Activities

Practicing physical fitness related activities such as running, weight lifting, and yoga can help us express and handle our emotions mindfully and not do any harm to ourselves and others.

Reading Self help books / Writing in a journal

Reading self help books that can help us with our mixed emotions and writing in a personal journal can help us express and handle our mixed emotions mindfully with creative writing and awareness and help us relieve and understand any feelings that might pop up in our hearts and minds.
